This new residential community included a first class championship golf course and the 99 bedroom MacDonald Cardrona four star Hotel, Golf and Spa (www.macdonaldhotels.co.uk) together with over four hundred new homes ranging from terraced cottages to six bedroom luxury villas overlooking the golf course. We worked with the local landowner to Masterplan the new community and secure the consents, and with leading golf course architects Dave Thomas to deliver the optimum golf course layout to maximise financial gain to the development and the original landowner. Subsequently we worked in partnership with four other house builders on the delivery of the new homes (Manor Kingdom constructed approximately 80 units ranging in price from £300,000 to £1 million, other developers included Miller Homes, Tilbury Douglas, and Applecross), establishing a Developers Guide and Design Brief to ensure compatibility between the different housebuilders.
